You may have thought that the recipes for the diet are characterized by extreme deprivation and a complete lack of variety. Thankfully, this is not true!
Our Glenmore Healthcare diet plan has many simple recipes that are easy to make, easy on the fats, and pleasing to the palate as well. Making this diet fun, interesting and giving yourself an abundance of choices, is essential in making your diet journey an experience you embrace and enjoy.
Orange Ginger Chicken
100g chicken – cut into 1″ chunks
orange – cut into quarters
2-3 cloves minced garlic
1 Tablespoon fresh ginger root (about 1/2″-1″ long piece, peeled & minced)
1/2 teaspoon basil
juice of half lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat non-stick pan over medium heat. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Add chicken to pan and stir fry until brown on all sides, about 5-10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute. Squeeze juice of orange quarters over chicken. Peel & separate orange into sections. Add orange sections, ginger, lemon juice, and basil. Stir well. Cover and simmer for about 15-20 mins or until cooked through. NOTE: This includes your protein and fruit portion for this meal.

Diet recipes are very versatile but all have the same goal in mind. You don’t want to feel deprived, so think creatively while on your Glenmore Healthcare Clean Start weight loss program.
Always remember to be aware of what is allowed when improvising your own diet recipes.
You can make many of your favorites, but you may have to make significant changes to keep things within the protocol. And don’t forget – seasonings are your friends and are very useful to enhancing the flavors of your food.
